So earlier this week my girlfriend came up to me out of nowhere and asked "can you take me to Guitar Center, I want to buy bongos or something so I can learn to play and jam with you". I couldn't believe my ears that someone already so insanely beautiful in so many ways was yet again blowing my mind. That's the coolest thing any girl has ever said to me ever. So we went and after she bought her Djembe, she furthered the awesomeness by asking "can you send me a voice memo of that song you're working on? I think it would sound cool as a duet and I want to try and write some lyrics and sing with you", again in awe I asked "of course baby, that's awesome, you know how to write lyrics and sing!?" , and her response was the cutest thing ever..."no but I can try if you help me". I know this story/post is long but this is by far the most moving thing I've ever experienced with a girl. Music means everything to me, and it all comes from a place of passion, and to know I can share that love with my other half is indescribable. This right here....what she did and what she said, THIS it what music is all about. Not caring if you're the best or even if you know how but just going for it and getting lost in that feeling.
